Finding myself again.
It's been awhile since I've posted. I took some time off and enjoyed the hectic schedule with my kids finishing up last school year, enjoyed the summer off with them, and now that school starts in little more than a week, I am getting excited about school starting and getting back to work myself.
In terms of healthy news - - I have kept off the weight I lost earlier this year. Yeah for me! I stopped dieting because I wasn't sure if I wanted to go further or not. I've decided that I do. So, on the day my kids start school, mom starts The 17 Day Diet: A Doctor's Plan Designed for Rapid Results again. It's just too easy to lose weight this way (and after all these months, I've kept it off) so I'm going to get it finished up.
My doctor and I are still trying to get my thyroid medication dosage to the right dose. Over the last couple weeks, I've been very cold, exhausted, and have the memory of swiss cheese. My period went back to very heavy again too. My doctor has me taking my morning temperatures (it has to do with my thyroid) for five days so when those five days are up, I'll call him with the results and go from there. So far, they've been 97.2, 97.4, and 97.7 the last three mornings.
I am worried because a pound has creeped back onto me and I don't want it to keep creeping up! Not after losing 19 pounds and liking it! That just makes my final weight loss goal that much further away. I have been looking at diet pills side effects just in case.
Hopefully by the end of this week, I will have news from my doctor on our next step either here on my Thyroid Hell blog. Hopefully it is the kind of news that clears up the brain fog and exhaustion!

Well, I've been on the 48-hour "hollywood diet" for 24 hours now and I quit. You're supposed to lose up to 10 pounds on it supposedly. I thought I'd see if their claims were right. Here's where I'm at:
I am getting ready to eat dinner - REAL FOOD soon. I can't wait. I'm so hungry I feel nauseous.
